Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore.
I'm fed up, we can do much better

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
Thank fuck for that. Any manager that utilizes the low-block like Moyes does and bangs on and on about being difficult to beat and be competitive should then be made to explain how we shipped 21 goals in 4 games to Palace, Fulham, a shitty Chelsea side and Arsenal. Oh, wait he did, apparently we sold Declan Rice a season ago and that's why 9 months later we shipped the Palace and Chelsea goals, who could have guessed that. Ta-ta Moyes.

Isn’t that Spartak Moskva job on anymore?

Moyes next job will either be a promoted side or a side that has just avoided relegation.

I will be surprised if any team from top down to 15th would employ him.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
the media can fluff his scotch eggs all they like and he can keep crowing about his achievements, but any head of recruitment of a vaugely well run club will look at the underlying numbers and steer well clear.

we were an awfully coached side with some outstanding indivduals. he did his best to relegate a team with rice, bowen and paqueta in it. give him a squad that isn't sprinkled with stardust to make up for his dogshit setup and they'll quickly go the way of sunderland.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
Yeh I can see him popping up at Leicester or Leeds (if they come up) or Forest or Wolves if they’re struggling around November time.

But given how poor we’ve been defensively I’m not sure he’s the man for that job.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
I’d be very surprised if a PL club went for him that wasn’t in a relegation scrap. He has the worst stats in European league football for any manager still in a job. Has anyone in any league lost as many games as he has and still kept his job over
3 seasons?

The reality is no clubs are setup for how he plays football. No academies are set up like that either. Which is one of the reasons why he could never replace Antonio properly.

Moyes doesn’t really fit anywhere. Man from a different era. And he just doesn’t realise it and no one around him has the guts to tell him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are Moyes' last Premier League club. I can't see any other club appointing a dinosaur 20 years past his sell by date. The game has moved on and left him behind

what Nonsense!

The game has left him behind? he won a European trophy last season

I get the hate of the negativity, but I'd be shocked if a PL club didn't want him, although I don't know if that is that is what he wants next.

Moyes is a busted flush . As any club or country that employs him will soon realise. But the clubs biggest issue is Sullivan the rot was allowed to start at the top . simply because he's too cowardly to make a decision in case it upsets the media . DM should have gone on June 9th 2023 . The day after the trophy parade .

Yeah. That's the sad thing about it. If Moyes had not been entrenched in his own power struggle and not scared to death of anything innovative or different then, you are dead right, he could've been our manager for a decade at least.

But he is obviously an instinctively defensive person. You only have to watch his pressers and interviews to see that. Constantly sniping at any criticism and always drawing attention back to anything he has done well.

He has narcissistic traits. Not very conducive to how modern football works and the way that recruitment has to be a collaborative effort.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
I can remember reading an article when Moyes was Everton manager saying they had a restricted access room at the training ground with every player listed with estimates as to how long they'd last with a changing schedule of replacements and targets next to each

I guess at West Ham he changed to a whiteboard with
HARRY MAGUIRE written on it in 2ft tall red letters

“West Ham’s management win Classless Act of the season again"

That’s pretty rich coming from a hairy weasel who was shagging his daughters friend whilst his wife was undergoing treatment for cancer.

I know who I wouldn’t want in the trenches.

made. I would post that to Sullivan. Because by the looks of it. He wants to run the club like it’s still the 60’s and 70’s.!

I never wanted Moyes in first or second time so am happy he is out.

I don't feel sorry for him as he can see whats happening around him with other clubs etc. But the people he held a light to like Fergusson etc wouldn't be as successful today if they didn't innovate and use their team properly.

I know someone who worked at Man City scouting network and I was blown away by the way they scouted and the data points that were checked and the way it went through to the very top, only when needed.

There is no way Pep can do the job of over 300 people with their feet on the ground watching games. although he did set the data points for certain characteristics and speak to those scouts when they found the points had been hit and questioned them why etc.

If Moyes had moved with the times then he could have actually been a long term manager at West ham and controlled all of those parts of the club and transitioned us into something. Instead he still wanted to manage like they did in the 90's and 00's.

The game is too large now to do things in those same small minded ways.

Spot on mate. It is all about maintaining the status quo.

Alot of the media and other supporter backlash is purely based on the "Who do you think you are?" syndrome.

They are allowed to demand better for their club but little old West Ham are not.

Lee Trundle 12:29 Wed May 8

Indeed he has.

If he was asked that and he answered it honestly, it would probably be for that model to work the manager has to relinquish responsibility for transfers to let the Tech Director with his scouting team do the recruitment.

Emperor Moyes is a dictator and so that model is completely against his natural instinct and need for full control and power.

Bang on the money.
Before the World Cup would’ve been the perfect time.
We’ve been shit since that failed Jan window when he wouldn’t buy a striker.
Good riddance
